ShiftEarn Pro is developed and operated by DJ&A Digital Studio Limited ("DJ&A Digital Studio", "we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the ShiftEarn Pro mobile application ("the App").
We take your privacy seriously. ShiftEarn Pro is designed to work with your data stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal pay or shift data.
ShiftEarn Pro does not collect, transmit, or store the following on our servers:
Except where you explicitly choose to use the optional AI-assistance feature described in Section 3 below, all shift, pay, and employee data you enter in the App is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
ShiftEarn Pro subscribers can optionally ask AI to explain an uploaded payslip, or find relevant wording in an uploaded employment document (such as an employment agreement or leave policy). This feature is opt-in and used on a per-request basis only — it never runs automatically, and the rest of the App, including uploading and reading a document, works fully without it.
When you upload a document, ShiftEarn Pro reads its text entirely on your device. Only if you then tap "Ask AI" is that extracted text — never the original PDF or image file itself — sent to our AI-assistance relay, which forwards it to our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, to generate an explanation or locate relevant wording. Every AI response is shown together with the exact excerpt of your document it is based on, so you can check it yourself.
The text sent for that one request is whatever appears on the document you chose to upload, which may include:
This text is used only to answer that one request — never for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.
This transmission only happens after you tap "Ask AI" and confirm an in-app dialog that states what will be sent, before anything is sent. If you don't use this feature, no document text ever leaves your device.
Our AI-assistance relay does not store the extracted text, the request sent to the AI provider, or the AI provider's response — none of it is written to any database or persistent log. The relay logs only a request identifier, an anonymous RevenueCat subscription-verification identifier, the type of document, and whether the request succeeded, to help prevent abuse; this technical log never contains your document's content. Your extracted text is also subject to OpenAI's own data-handling terms while your request is being processed — see OpenAI's Privacy Policy at openai.com/policies/privacy-policy. We do not control, and cannot state here, how long OpenAI itself retains a processed request.
No name, email address, or account is sent with an AI request — ShiftEarn Pro does not require an account. The only identifier included is RevenueCat's own anonymous subscription-verification identifier (see Section 4 below), used solely to confirm you hold an active subscription, never to track you across other apps or websites.
ShiftEarn Pro uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. When you purchase or restore a subscription, RevenueCat may collect:
This data is used solely to verify and manage your subscription. RevenueCat's privacy practices are governed by their own Privacy Policy, available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple and Google may also collect data in connection with App Store and Google Play purchases in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
When you export a PDF timesheet, the document is generated locally on your device. The App uses your device's native share sheet to save or send the PDF. We do not receive, store, or process the content of your exported timesheets.
If you contact us at support@djadigitalstudio.com, we will use the information you provide (such as your name and email address) solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact details with third parties.
ShiftEarn Pro is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Because your shift and pay data is stored locally on your device, its security is governed by your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure lock screen passcode.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
